Here is the list of ingredients and the procedure for making your favorite healthy veggie pizza at home. Ingredients: For the pizza dough- 1. Warm water - 1 cup 2. Sugar - 1 tsp 3. Dry yeast - 1 tbsp 4. Olive oil - 1 tbsp 5. Salt - 1 tsp 6. Whole wheat flour - 3 cups For the pizza sauce: 1. Tomato ketchup - 1/2 cup 2. Chili garlic sauce / Schezwan sauce - 1 tbsp 3. Dry herbs (oregano, basil) - 1 tsp each 4. Granulated garlic - 1 tsp (optional) Procedure: - Take 1 cup of warm water in a bowl. - Add the sugar and dissolve. - Add the yeast, stir and let it rest and activate for 10-15 mins until it makes the surface foamy. - Add the olive oil and salt and mix together. - Add the flour and mix to form a sticky dough. - Turn the dough on a lightly floured clean surface and knead for 15-20 mins to form a smooth and very soft dough. - Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl and drizzle some more oil on the top. -Cover with a cling wrap or a damp cotton cloth and let the dough rest and rise for 1 hour or until it has doubled in size. - Cut the dough in half and place the two dough balls in two separate bowls. - Cover again and let it rest for 20 mins so that the dough can rise further. - Prep the pizza pan with a little oil and dry flour or corn meal (recommended). - Turn one half of the dough on to the pizza pan and spread it evenly with either your hands or a rolling pin. - Poke holes i the crust with the help of a fork to prevent puffing. - Spread the sauce generously on the crust leaving some space towards the outer edges. - Add cheese and your favorite toppings. - Place in a preheated oven and bake for 15 mins at 220 degrees Celsius. Once done, take it out, sprinkle more oregano, chili flakes.
